I’ll be reading two of my poems (In the time before words and Anything I can put ketchup on) selected for inclusion in the 2013 Tidal Echoes journal on Friday April 19th at 7pm in the Egan Lecture Hall. b. 1980 chicago family migrated to detroit area seeking capitalist ventures. eeked out a childhood existence on baseball diamonds lush with green grass and imported red georgia clay. 2003 graduated from university of michigan ann arbor, yet another graduate in the faceless mass. ann arbor is the ideal liberal, cultural smorgasborg in the midwest, i miss it. 2004 jumped ship on the lower forty-eight and have been hiding out in an alternately soggy and snowy corner of alaska. 2007. i'm a dad, oh boy! 2009. i'm a certified master of Information and Library Science and on my way to full-time stay at home dadhood if i can't score a job in portland soon. 2010. spent a great year in 2011 being jobless, volunteering at free geek and writing! 2011. librarian, continued adventures of fatherhood and other hoods. i'm a dad again, Oscar's wilde. Have left a librarian gig at a public library to try life at an academic library at a small college. 2 years into this newish world and i'm still having fun.
